POSITION: Director of Transportation – Deer Trail 26J Schools (full-time)
HOURLY RATE RANGE: TBD DOE, Training provided - great opportunity part-time work.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- Good driving record required (submit Motor Vehicle Record with application)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
- Experience working in school setting or with school age children preferred – must like & enjoy elementary-middle and high school students!
- Experience driving truck bus or operating heavy equipment a plus, however, we will train!

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Assignment starting date is flexible – upon completion of training -
- Position is director of transportation during the course of the school year – approx. 2 - 6 hours/day, depending on assignment; additional hours available at times for field trips, activity trips (sports, band, clubs), etc.
- All contracts/agreements need approval of the Board of Education.
- Direct deposit is a condition of employment.
- No smoking is allowed in any DT26J school buildings or on school property.
- Selected applicant must comply with the District's Drug-Free Workplace policy,
- of Transportation physical and drug screening
- As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), the selected applicant must verify, within 72 hours of employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States.
